Psion Teklogix Teams Up with New Zealand's CourierPost

Psion Teklogix (www.psionteklogix.com) is providing its WORKABOUT PRO solution for CourierPost, New Zealand's largest courier service. CourierPost is a division of Express Couriers Limited and has implemented the new mobile computing solution throughout its entire national fleet/ WORKABOUT PRO offers enhanced features and customization capabilities integral to improving customer service.

CourierPost chose WORKABOUT PRO because of its flexibility, ruggedness, and superior battery management after a three month testing process of several mobile computing solutions. The system enables Express Couriers to tailor the devices to meet the various needs of its different courier operations, and strengthens their real time scanning and messaging capabilities.

Psion Teklogix' Mobile Control Center MCC software tool will also be used by CourierPost to manage the software on the WORKABOUT PRO. The device management software enables IT administrators to centrally manage all mobile devices in the field. The solution has been implemented by all three courier divisions of Express Couriers Ltd. including CourierPost, Pace, and Contract Logistics.

ODIN Selected as Hardware Provider for Airbus

ODIN technologies (www.odintechnologies.com) has been selected by Airbus for a multi-year partnership as its exclusive worldwide RFID hardware integrator. ODIN will provide solution design, deployment, testing, and support services for the first of three phases to provide real-time automated visibility across the Airbus value chain.
