New Jersey Packaging Debuts Cortegra at RFID World 2007

New Jersey Packaging (www.newjerseypackaging.com) and Creative Press are undergoing a complete revamp where everything from operations to marketing will be updated. And since the company has expanded far beyond the reaches of New Jersey alone, a new name will be used to convey the values and service being transferred from these company names.

Cortegra will be the new name these expansions will be carried out under, and with the leadership of the newly appointed President, Victor Dixon. Dixon has an extensive background in industrial manufacturing from both the manufacturing and sales side of the operation. Most recently, Dixon was the General Manager and Vice President of the Scientific Glassware business for Kimble Glass. Dixon explains: "The name reflects the geographic changes and our increased capabilities, and it will also serve as a platform for our growth. Cortegra represents our company's core values and integrity, hence the word 'Cortegra.'"

Along with focusing on their core markets such as pharmaceuticals and the healthcare industry, Cortegra will also look towards expanding into adjacent markets such as biotech, medical devices, and animal healthcare. They will enter this growth trajectory with momentum as they look for new partners, marketing agreements, and joint ventures that will benefit both parties.

This reinvention marks a milestone as well as a birth for a newly expanded company with the same core values and customer appreciation under a name that represents it all. "We have an ever-changing marketplace, and I think it's important for companies, like ourselves, to reinvent themselves periodically. We are certainly going to take the best of what we offered to our customers in the past and expand on that to offer some new and exciting things," says Dixon.

Cortegra will debut their newly improved company at booth #300 at RFID World. During the conference, Cortegra will showcase its RxTrackNSecure product line of pressure sensitive labels that are cGMP compliant, pre-printed, pre-cut, and come equipped with 100% readable RFID tags for case-, pallet-, and item-level tagging. Cortegra's cGMO compliant folding cartons for pharmaceutical products will also be showcased at this event.

CompTIA RFID+ Certification Training by RFID4U at RFID World 2007

RFID4U will be offering its CompTIA RFID+ Fast Track Certification Training & Testing course at the RFID World 2007 conference. CompTIA RFID+ Certification is a recognized validation of professional knowledge and skills within the RFID industry and is designed for those who have a sound understanding of RFID technology.

The training session will be offered on Monday, March 26. Attendees can then take the certification test on March 27, or take a voucher to attempt the test at a later date. This course, which has been offered twice in Singapore's Siemens Training Center, was a great success for both the students and RFID4U. During the first session, taught by Eva Zeisel of RFID4U, every student passed the exam and became CompTIA RFID+ Certified.

John Venarot, President and CEO of CompTIA, says: "RFID systems are complex and difficult to install and integrate because unpredictable variables can occur at any stage of the deployment. The more experience, trained, and certified the RFID team, the better they will be able to overcome any challenges, and deliver the highest-quality RFID service to customers."
