AD-222 Inlay by Avery Dennison Provides Seamless Upgrades
Avery Dennison Corporation (www.rfid.averydennison.com) announces the release of the 4" x 0.5" AD-222 inlay, which is an upgrade from the general-purpose Gen 2 AD-220. Improved read rates and range provide a better overall performance, and a reoccurring inlay position allows the AD-222 to replace the AD-220.
As a plug-and-play device, the AD-222 moves seamlessly into the same position of an existing application. Thanks to this quality, most users will not have to change any settings or reconfigure label artwork. It is also wide-band functional and can operate across the globe between regions using 866 and 954 MHz. The AD-222 also performs on a wider variety of carton contents.
George Reynolds, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Avery Dennison says: "The AD-220 is currently used in a variety of applications from supply chain carton tracking to CD inventory monitoring to multimedia shopping cart and self-serve retail kiosks. The enhancements offered by the AD-222 give users even more options with this small footprint inlay."
