Label-Aire’s New Air-Blow Applicator

Label-Aire introduced the patented “air-blow” technique for applying pressure-sensitive labels over 40 years ago, eliminating the need for additional product handling. The technique stuck, and now the same company introduces a new member to its family of RFID products—the Model 3115/11 RFID Air-Blow applicator. This applicator lowers operating costs and increases productivity through accuracy, reliability, and ease of use.

The model features “Velocity Compensation” for improved label placement accuracy and “Zero Downtime Labeling” for production to continue without interruptions. Product/label queuing and missing label compensation can virtually eliminate unlabeled products. The Model’s RFID features include EPC, Class 0, Class 0+, Class 1, Gen 2 RFID tag encoding, fully integrated UHF/EPC technology, user friendly Label-Aire RFID tag formatting software, and a “Tag Rejecter” device.
