Paragon Launches New RFID Web Site
Paragon Data Systems has launched a Web site to provide a cost-effective resource for suppliers who are looking to comply to mandates quickly and easily. The site, www.paragonrfid.com, can be used as a company's primary source for labels or as a back up solution.
A user must set up an account with the company's name, shipping information, relevant RFID information, and a credit card number. An EPC number or DoD assigned CAGE number is needed. Then, a label format (retail or DoD) must be selected, as well as case and pallet labels. Next, the user answers questions presented to encode the tags and complete the label information. The number of labels needed is entered and added to the cart. After review, the order is submitted and the labels get printed at the labeling center. They are shipped immediately and the user's credit card is billed instantly.
There are no fees for membership or costs of software or hardware. The pricing is on a per-tag basis. Paragon offers help to users who want to transition from its Web service to in-house printing operations.
